New York City has
been an inspiration for my artwork since I attended Manhattan’s
High School of Art & Design. There I studied drawing, painting,
commercial art and illustration. It was the teachers Irwin Greenberg
and Max Ginsburg who taught me to see and paint the diversity
of people and neighboords of the city.
Based on my portfolio I was awarded a full scholarship to the
School of Visual Arts. I took design classes and majored in illustration
but also continued my fine art studies with another inspirational
teacher Steve Assael.
Upon graduation I began a career as a freelance illustrator/graphic
designer. Some of my past clients include WNET/Channel 13, Harlequin
books, Maxell Corporation, and the New York Mets. |
